We examine more than 5,000 biopsies per year from nephrologists and urologists across the country. We serve nephrologists and urologists caring for patients with renal and genitourinary diseases.

Our team is headed by Dr Anila Abraham Kurien MD, a specialised renal and genitourinary pathologist with more than 15 years of experience in the field of renal and genitourinary pathology

Our Service

Renal Pathology

All renal biopsies are processed for light microscopy and immunofluorescence study. Biopsies are also processed for electron microscopy on a case to case basis.

Genitourinary Pathology

The genitourinary pathology service evaluates diseases of the genitourinary system, including kidney, bladder, prostate, testis and penis.
